Nursing Services: RNs, LPNs
Registered and Licensed Nurses for skilled nursing services are recruited weekly with weekly orientation at our locations.  

Personal Support Services: CNAs, Personal Care Aides, Homemakers
CNAs, Personal Care Aides, Homemakers, provide supportive care for our Waiver Clients and private pay clients who are elderly, disabled or recovering from surgery or an illness and are unable to perform their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).

Items Needed When Submitting An Application

To  process  your  application  and  to  get  you  in  the  field  as  soon  as Possible,  please  provide  us  with  the  following  items.

All applicants need to have the following:

  1. Reliable transportation.
  2. Current RN, LPN, or DHR License or CNA Certification
  3. Current  CPR and First Aid card (We schedule in office classes once each month)
  4. Photo ID   (preferably  your  drivers  license)
  5. Social Security  card  or  proof  of  SS#
  6. Current  physical   (taken  within  the  previous  12  months)
  7. Copy of PPD  test  or chest X-ray
  8. 3 personal  or  professional  references  including  full  names,  addresses,  phone  numbers  and  fax  numbers if  available.
  9. Personal Support Aides  will  need  to  provide  automobile  insurance verification  and  a  valid Georgia  Driver’s  License.

Before you can begin working for American Home Care and Medical Services, you will also have to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
