American Home Care and Medical Services Strives To Offer Affordable Services

American Home Care and Medical Services is cost effective with the health care system. Because you decide how often and when you need us, you’ll find American Home Care and Medical Services affordable and convenient. Private insurance, Managed Care, Medicaid, or private pay are all acceptable means of payment.

Acceptable Forms of Payment

Direct Payment for private services through Major Credit card, check, Money Order

Insurance
All insurance plans are acceptable, requires preauthorization from insurance company. Rates are set with insurance company; clients are responsible for deductible.

Medicaid Waivers CCSP, ICWP, SOURCE
We accept referrals from Care Management Services in the  6 Regions that we  serve throughout Georgia and from Case managers in the ICWP Program, Area Agency on Aging. Client may be responsible for cost share. You must be Medicaid eligible to participate in Medicaid waiver programs and to qualify for full or partial coverage by Medicaid.

State Waiver REFERRAL Programs
We can channel clients to appropriate agencies to qualify for state and community programs in which we provide service. In some cases, client may be responsible for cost share.

Workman’s Compensation
Requires preauthorization from Workman’s Comp Case Manager.

VA Clients – Veterans’ Administrations Cases
Requires pre-authorization from Case Manager.

Private Monthly Home Care Plans (require Major Credit card on file)

Rates are based on the services requested.

Home Visits:
CNA/ PSA Rates are $35.00 per visit
Baths are $35.00
LPN Rates are $55.00 per visit
RN Supervision with visits are negotiable.

Homemaker Services, Sitter/ Companion

$180.00 per day (24 hour day) with appropriate breaks  / $168.00 per half day (12 hours) in-home cost

Please note that private pay services require a major credit card to be on file with our company or a deposit may be required.
